1. If you are migrating to us from another provider, it is important that you first setup all the email accounts on our servers before 

    initiating a change of the MX records. 

    Once you have setup your emails you have to inform the company hosting of your DNS to point the email records to the

    following by referring the instructions from the Welcome Email.

As an example, if the Welcome Email , Webadmin URL shows as as below: 

Then , the DNS records that need to be pointed shall be referring as: 

  • IN MX 10:

  • IN TXT: v=spf1 a mx -all

  • smtp IN CNAME: 

  • mail IN CNAME:

  • webmail IN CNAME:

2. If you are currently hosted with us, you may update your domain name servers as per below via Exabytes billing system.

Go to Domains >> My Domains >> click “Tool Icon” >> Manage Nameservers >> Use custom nameservers (enter below)




Then change nameserver

Then go to >> Domain Manage DNS >> Add Zone of your EBiz Mail Pro

Update/Add DNS entries to the following:

  • IN MX 10:

  • IN TXT: v=spf1 a mx -all

  • smtp IN CNAME: 

  • mail IN CNAME:

  • webmail IN CNAME:

  • Example of the records that need to be added for sample domain

  • You may just need to replace the domain with your own domain name

  • Do note that there is a dot . behind the domain name. 

3. Please follow the below steps to create the email accounts from the client area.

a) Login to your client area via :

b) Proceed to Services -> My Services -> Click on the product EBiz Mail PRO -> Click on Active

c) Click on Manage SmarterMail Users and Aliases

You shall be viewing the below options on your left tab:

d) Please select on the option "Add Smartermail User" to Create Smartermail User
